I wholeheartedly believes that young bright minds simply need to be given the opportunity to think big. Students in middle and high school grades have the ability to critically analyze the world around them and conjure creative solutions to existing problems, creating an innovative thought pattern that extends beyond the confines of the classroom and into their daily lives. I am thrilled to join forces with Challenge for Change and help students realize their own potential in tackling real-world problems. As a middle school student in Philadelphia, I was challenged in the same way, leading me to pursue educational opportunities focused on facilitating understanding between countries in the international arena. Originally from Albania, I moved with my family to the United States at the tender age of nine. Philadelphia became both my home and educational laboratory. I attended the University of Pennsylvania where I obtained a B.A. in International Relations & Modern Middle Eastern Studies and a Masters of Public Administration. With experience in the nonprofit sector, political sphere, and governmental arena, I hope to use my education and professional background to challenge for some change in Washington, D.C., a place that I now call my home.
